Finance Operations

  • Recording day to day financial transactions and classifying, analyzing, interpreting, reporting, and summarizing the financial data

  • Manage all clients assigned using QBO, QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) or similar Accounting software

  • Record (map) financial transactions and post the appropriate journal entries within accounting packages (QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero or similar)

  • Reconcile Bank, Credit Card, payroll, loan, Expensify, Bill.com etc. accounts monthly on time and recommend, and implement actions to resolve discrepancies

  • Run payroll for internal employees and your clients’ employees

  • Enter Payroll, 401K, HSA and other journal entries as needed

  • Verify and reconcile all tax and payroll accounts quarterly or as needed

  • Prepare Month-end/Quarter-end/Year-end reporting package in both Cash and Accrual Accounting

  • Communicate with clients on a timely and professional manner, answer any inquiries

  • Compile and organize data provided by clients, such as invoices, receipts, and bank statements

  • Sync linked accounts, resolve any sync issues and/or upload transactions manually as needed

  • Follow up with clients regarding any inquiries and questions

  • Save all documents in associated folders, prepare cheat sheets and documentation

Accounting & Finance Operations

  • Review and verify of client month-end close packages prepared by bookkeepers and fill out a checklist

  • Review and verify quarterly and year-end client reports

  • Historical data cleanup

  • Historical account reconciliation

  • Data entry and import

  • POS and Merchant Services account cleanup and reconciliation (Square, PayPal, Amazon, Etsy, QBO Merchant Services and similar)

  • Ecommerce activity and fee reconciliation
